Average number of BNB transactions per day increased by 1.2%

In September, the average number of BSC transactions per day was 3,252,189. The average number of BSC transactions per day in August was 3,212,922. Compared to August, the average number of transactions in September slightly increased by 1.2%. The chart below shows that the average number of transactions per day on Binance Smart Chain has increased, but it was still less than this value in June and July.

The largest number of transactions per day in September on Binance Smart Chain was registered on the 9th and was 4,219,357. The minimum number of 2,689,221 transactions was confirmed on August 25th.

Average number of BSC blocks per day increased by 1.39% in September

The BSC Average Number of Blocks Per Day chart shows an increase of 1.39% in the average number of blocks per day on the Binance Smart Chain in September. The average number of BSC blocks per day in September was 28,586, and the average number of BSC blocks in August was 28,193.

The average size of blocks mined per day continues its decrease. It was 0.86 GB in August. In September, this value was slightly reduced to 0.84 Gb.

Similar trend is shown on the BSC Total Block Size Per Month, Gb chart. It can be seen that the total size of blocks mined per month in the Binance Smart Chain in September 2022 was 25.09 Gb, 5.74% less than in August 2022 when this amount was 26.53 Gb.

Average BSC gas price decreased by 2.1%, compared to August.

The average gas price on the Binance Smart Chain in September was 7.06 gwei, in August it was 7.21 gwei. It is a decrease of 2.1%.

In September, there were no significant peaks in the average gas price per day. The price moved steadily in the range from 6.54 to 7.54 Gwei.

BSC active addresses statistics

In September, the average number of unique active wallets per day increased by 11.48% compared to August.

In September, the average number of daily active wallets on the Binance Smart Chain was 890,253. In August, this number was 798,559. It is an increase of 11.48%.

Data-driven conclusions

For Binance Smart Chain, September was not a bad month in terms of data. The figures were not only not lower than in August, but also slightly increased, and the number of active wallets on the network grew by more than 11%, which is a good indicator against the fact that September is traditionally considered the worst month of the year for the cryptocurrency market. But it is still too early to talk about significant improvements in the direction of a trend change.
